Our team is confident that with our patented OcuScope device, and our collective tissue recovery and medical experience, we can penetrate the market quickly and transform the donor cornea recovery field.

Kyle Thistle, MD | Co-Founder

Dr. Thistle has over 3 years of experience working as a tissue recovery specialist and recovering corneas. He saw the opportunity to improve cornea recoveries and worked hard to develop a device that could reduce the alarmingly high discard rate. He submitted a patent for our OcuScope device which was granted in 2018.

Victoria Prete, MD | Co-Founder

In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Prete has a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology in International Design and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She has years of experience working as a medical researcher where she has published several peer-reviewed papers and submitted several successful grants. Dr. Prete’s combination of design, marketing, research and grant writing, and medical knowledge give her a creative approach to problem solving and securing funding.
